Arya 34 begins shooting 

We had told you that Arya and director Muthaiya have joined hands for a new film. The project which is currently referred to as Arya 34 began shooting today. 

Siddhi Idnani, who made her debut with Gautham Menon's Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu, will be playing the female lead. The shooting announcement poster features a silhouette of Arya and an illustration of Madurai city, so the film is expected to be an action entertainer based on that region. 

Muthaiya has made films in the genre like Kutty Puli (2010), Komban (2015) and Devarattaam (2019) and the recent Viruman within a similar template. 

Arya 34 will have cinematography by R Velraj, who also shot Muthaiya's Marudhu (2016), while GV Prakash will compose the tunes. The film will be produced by Drumsticks Productions in association with Zee Studios South.
