Singer Rajalakshmi, who rose to fame for singing the Tamil version of Saamy Saamy from Pushpa:The Rise will be making her acting debut with a new film titled License.
The film will be directed by Ganapathy Balamurugan who is known for helming 2016's Enakku Veru Engum Kilaigal Kidayathu, starring Goundamani, Soundaraja and Riythvika.
License is said to be a social drama carrying a strong message highlighting the glory of womanhood. Apart from Rajalakshmi, the film stars senior actor Radha Ravi in an important role.
Rajalakshmi's husband Senthil Ganesh, is also a famous singer and he made his acting debut with Thirudu Pogatha Manasu in 2014.
The couple had sung Chinna Machan from Charlie Chaplin 2, which became a viral hit.
