AK 62: Ajith's next to be directed by Vignesh Shivan?

It is already known that Ajith Kumar's next film, tentatively titled AK 61, will be directed by H Vinoth. It is the actor-director duo's third consecutive collaboration after Nerkonda Paarvai and Valimai. Rumoured to be a heist thriller, the film is backed by Boney Kapoor.

Meanwhile, there is a buzz going around that Ajith's next after the Vinoth film will be directed by Vignesh Shivan. It is also speculated that Lyca Productions will be backing the project.

Vignesh Shivan, who is awaiting the release of Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal, has earlier penned songs for Ajith's Yennai Arindhaal and Valimai.

An official confirmation regarding AK 62 is still awaited.
