Dhanush is teaming up with his brother and filmmaker Selvaraghavan after 11 years for Naane Varuven. Kalaippuli S Thanu is producing the film under his banner V Creations. In a recent media interaction, the producer was seen heaping praise on the film and Dhanush's performance in it.

With speculations about Dhanush playing a dual role in the film, Thanu also hinted the same. "Dhanush's villain role is something like never before, and he has delivered a phenomenal performance. The film will be a trend-setter, and Selvaraghavan, the filmmaker, will be much in demand," said the producer, adding that he has already requested Selvaraghavan to do another film for him.

Besides directing, Selvaraghavan is also acting in Naane Varuven. Indhuja Ravichandran, Elli AvrRam, Prabhu, Yogi Babu and Shelly Koshore are also part of the cast. The film has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography by Om Prakash.
