First single from Santhanam’s Gulu Gulu out

Composer Santhosh Narayanan took to Twitter to release the single for Santhanam’s Gulu Gulu titled Maatna Gaali. The composer uploaded the song along with a message that said “I dedicate this to all my directors and the Tamil film fraternity. Excited.” The music video, intercut with scenes from the film, has the composer shaking a leg for his groovy tunes. 

Director Rathna Kumar has penned the lyrics for ‘Maatna Gaali’ while Lyricist Vivek is also on board to write for the soundtrack. Information regarding other songs in the tracklist has not been released yet.

Gulu Gulu, which stars Santhanam in the lead role, is directed by Meyadha Maan fame Rathna Kumar and produced by Raj Narayanan’s Circle Box Entertainment. Sun TV has reportedly acquired the satellite rights for the film while Udhayanidhi Stalin is distributing the film under his Red Giant Movies banner.

The film also stars Athulya Ravi, George Maryan, and Pradeep Rawat along with Santhanam’s Lollu Sabha castmates Maaran and Seshu. The makers of the action-comedy had previously released a teaser for the film six days ago. The film is currently scheduled to release on 29 July 2022.
