Vidaarth and Vikranth team up for Vidiyum Varai Kaathiru

Actors Vidaarth and Vikranth are teaming up for a new film titled Vidiyum Varai Kaathiru. Directed by Saji Saleem, who had earlier assisted director Ramkumar, the film also stars Karthik Kumar, Varun, Chandran, Mahalakshmi Shankar and Quincy.

The film is bankrolled by VC Ravindhran under his home banner Libra Productions. Speaking about the film, Ravindhran says, "Vidiyum Varai Kathiru is an action thriller that's about a police officer and a Naxalite interchanging their cars and the consequences this incident leads to." Interestingly, the title was earlier used by K Bhagyaraj for his 1981 crime thriller. "We requested Bhagyaraj sir for the title as it was very suitable for our story. He gave us this title immediately. The film will go on floors from July 23 in Coimbatore and will be completed in one month."

Vidiyum Varai Kaathiru will have cinematography by Gnanasowndar and Ashwath of FIR fame is in charge of the music.
