Rajinikanth confirms that he will start shooting for Jailer soon

Jailer is the veteran actor’s 169th film. Nelson Dilipkumar, who rose to fame with Kolamaavu Kokila, is directing the film

While fans are eagerly waiting to see what the superstar’s next moves are, he recently confirmed in a media interaction that he will start shooting for Jailer on either 15th or 22nd of August. Later, while hurrying his way through the airport, the actor was asked what his next plans are, to which he replied with a playful smirk and said he will be shooting for his film. The short video has gone viral, getting the fans all hyped up for the film.

Jailer is the veteran actor’s 169th film. Nelson Dilipkumar, who rose to fame with Kolamaavu Kokila, is directing the film. Jailer is produced by Sun Pictures, who are known for giving big hits with Rajinikanth like Enthiran and Sivaji. The makers of the film had recently revealed the title for the film with a poster. 

The music for the film will be composed by Anirudh, who recently collaborated with Nelson on Vijay’s Beast and last worked with Rajinikanth in Darbar. The announcement for the film was made with a short promo with the actor along with the director and the composer in which Rajinikanth’s look in the film was revealed. 

Details regarding the plot of the film, the release date, and the rest of the cast are kept under tight wraps by Sun Pictures.
