Jayam Ravi’s thirtieth film officially begins with a pooja ceremony

The film also stars Priyanka Mohan, Natarajan Subramaniam(Natty), and VTV Ganesh

Jayam Ravi’s thirtieth film, directed by Oru Kal Oru Kannadi fame M Rajesh, officially launches production with a pooja ceremony today. The project, which is currently under the working title of Jayam Ravi 30, is expected to begin shooting next week. The film is produced by Screen Scene Media Entertainment Pvt Ltd. 

Harris Jayaraj, who recently worked on The Legend, is composing the music for the film. The music director last collaborated with Jayam Ravi on Vanamagan which was released in 2017. Jayam Ravi, who plays the protagonist, will be joined by actors Natarajan Subramaniam(Natty), VTV Ganesh, and Priyanka Mohan. Jayam Ravi is currently busy promoting his upcoming historical epic Ponniyin Selvan directed by Mani Ratnam.

The makers of the film announced the launch of the project with an announcement poster. Details regarding the plot of the film and the rest of the cast are yet to emerge. Director M Rajesh had recently directed a section of an anthology film titled Victim - Who is next?
