Release date of KS Ravikumar's Koogle Kuttapa out

The release date of KS Ravikumar's Koogle Kuttapa has been announced. The film will release in theatres on May 6. Directed by Sabari and Saravanan, the film is an official remake of the Malayalam hit, Android Kunjappan Ver 5.25, starring Suraj Venjaramoodu and Soubin Shahir. 

Koogle Kuttapa also stars Tharshan, Losliya, Yogibabu, and Prankster Ragul. The film will tell the story of a lonely middle-aged man who forms a bond with a robot. KS Ravikumar will be stepping into the shoes of the character played by Suraj Venjaramoodu in the original. Tharshan will be seen as his son. 

In addition to playing the lead role, KS Ravikumar is also producing the film through his production house, RK Celluloids, marking his return to production after the 2000 hit, Thenali, starring Kamal Haasan. Koogle Kuttapa has music by Ghibran while Arvi has handled the cinematography.
