First look of Rajinikanth's Annaatthe out

The first look of Rajinikanth's 168^th film, Annaatthe has been released. It features a veshti-clad Rajini in what looks like a village festival backdrop. The announcement also confirmed that the film will hit screens on the 4th of November, on the occasion of Deepavali. 

Directed by Siva, Annaatthe marks the first collaboration between the filmmaker and Rajinikanth. This is composer Imman's first film with the actor and second with the director.

Apart from Rajinikanth, Annaatthe stars Meena, Khushboo, Keerthy Suresh, Nayanthara, Prakashraj, Robo Shankar, Soori, and Sathish in important roles.

Said to be a rural drama, Annaatthe has Vetri and Ruben handling cinematography and editing, respectively.
