Prabhudheva and Aishwarya Rajesh will be teaming up for a new film set to be directed by Kalyaan, and the shooting of the yet-to-be-titled film has commenced today in Pondicherry.

Produced by Ramesh P Pillai through Abhishek Films, the project will mark the second collaboration between Prabhudheva and Aishwarya Rajesh after the 2018 film, Lakshmi. Likewise, this is also the second time Prabhudheva will be acting under the direction of Kalyaan after Gulaebaghavali.

The new film features several well-known actors in supporting roles, including Yogi Babu, Mansoor Ali Khan, Devadarshini, George Mariyan, and Thangadurai, to name a few. While Ashwin Vinayagamoorthy will be composing the music, GN Murugan will be handling the action choreography. Further details related to the project are currently in wraps.

In addition to this film, Prabhudheva has multiple films in his pipeline, including Bagheera, Poikkal Kuthirai, Yung Mung Sung, and the long-delayed Pon Manickavel. On the other hand, Aishwarya's upcoming slate of Tamil films includes Driver Jamuna, Mohandas, and the Tamil remake of The Great Indian Kitchen.
