Christina Ricci has been roped in for filmmaker Chris Sivertson's supernatural thriller, Monstrous. The script of the film has been penned by Carol Chrest.
The story revolves around a traumatised woman fleeing from her abusive ex-husband with her seven-year-old son. Monstrous is bankrolled by Robert Yocum, Sasha Yelaun, B I Rosen and Johnny Remo.
Ricci, who was last seen in the American-Canadian-Indian biographical drama Percy, is equally famous for her voice roles in films like The Smurfs 2 and Teen Titans: The Judas Contract.
Chris Siverton is known for his work in films like The Lost (as writer) and I Know Who Killed Me (as director).
