The teaser of Prashanth Neel's KGF: Chapter 2 has crossed 200 million views on YouTube. The teaser was released on 7th January earlier this year to mark the 35th birthday of actor Yash, the star of the franchise.

The teaser gave us a glimpse of Yash’s Rocky nonchalantly taking down the enemy camp with help of his ‘little friend’, a lightweight machine gun. We also got a glimpse of the antagonist Adheera, played by Sanjay Dutt.

Director Prashanth shared the news on his social media and wrote, "You gangsters are just the craziest!!! Thank you for making our monster unstoppable and fearless."

Yash too shared the news and thanked the audience for the overwhelming response.

KGF, the two-part fictional mob drama, traces the journey of a dreaded criminal Rocky, portrayed by Yash, and his desire to rule the gold mines of Kolar, which results in a turf war with Adheera.

Directed by Prashanth Neel, the film also stars Raveena Tandon, Prakash Raj, Srinidhi Shetty, Malavika Avinash, and Eswari Rao. The film has cinematography by Bhuvan Gowda and music by Ravi Basrur.

Recently, amid rumours that the film will premiere on an OTT platform, the makers clarified and announced that the much-anticipated sequel will release on the big screen. KGF: Chapter 2, one of the most-awaited pan-Indian films of this year, will release in Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam.
