Kartik Aaryan-starrer Satyanarayan ki Katha to undergo a change of title

It was recently announce that Kartik Aaryan was set to star in a romantic film titled, Satyanarayan ki Katha. However, filmmaker Sameer Vidwans, who is set to make his Bollywood debut with the film, announced a change in the title to "avoid hurting any sentiments."

National Award-winning director Vidwans, known for the critically-acclaimed 2019 Marathi drama Anandi Gopal, said, "A title of the film is something that emerges organically through the creative process. We have taken a decision to change the title of our recently announced film Satyanarayan ki Katha to avoid hurting any sentiments, even if that's purely unintentional."

Produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment in collaboration with Namah Pictures, the film was announced late last month.

Sameer added that the producers and the creative team were also in complete support of the decision. "We will be announcing a new title for our love story in due course of our journey," he said.

The film is expected to go on floors towards the end of the year.
