Pushpa team to introduce Allu Arjun's character on April 7

The makers of Pushpa have released a teaser video announcing that Allu Arjun's character Pushpa Raj will be introduced on April 7, ahead of the actor's birthday.

Titled Prelude of Pushpa Raj, the video features a blindfolded man, with hands tied behind, running in the middle of a forest.

Mythri Movie Makers, the production house of the film, shared the video on their Twitter handle and wrote, "Meet the ferocious Pushpa Raj on 7th April at 6:12 pm."

Last month, it was revealed that actor Fahadh Faasil will play the antagonist in the film

Pushpa is set in the backdrop of red sandal smuggling in Seshachalam forests. With music by Devi Sri Prasad, the film has Rashmika Mandanna playing the female lead.

The project marks the third feature film collaboration between director Sukumar and Allu Arjun after their Arya films. 

Pushpa will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada on August 13.
