Sanjay Dutt to finish shooting for Akshay Kumar-starrer Prithviraj post-Diwali, say reports

Sanjay Dutt will finish shooting for Akshay Kumar-starrer Prithviraj post Diwali. The 61-year-old-actor, who was reportedly diagnosed with cancer in August (his family is yet to confirm the rumours), has been working to finish his film commitments in recent months.

According to reports, Sanjay has completed 85-90 per cent of the Prithviraj shoot. He has just five to six days of shoot left, which he will wrap up after Diwali, a report in an entertainment portal claims. 

Produced by Yash Raj Films, Prithviraj is the biopic of the Chahamanas dynasty ruler Prithviraj Chauhan. The film is directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi and stars Akshay in the titular role. 

Earlier this month, Sanjay had resumed shooting for Shamshera, co-starring Ranbir Kapoor. He will also be seen in the forthcoming films Bhuj: The Pride of India, Torbaaz and KGF: Chapter 2.
