Lokesh Kanagaraj, who is awaiting the release of the Vijay-starrer Master, will be joining hands with Kamal Haasan for a new film, temporarily referred to as Kamal Haasan 232. The yet-to-be-titled film, produced under Kamal's home banner, Raaj Kamal Film International, will have music by Anirudh Ravichander.

The announcement poster of the film features a silhouette of Kamal embossed by a collection of guns with the caption: "Once upon a time there lived a ghost..." The poster also reveals that the film will be out Summer 2021.

It was speculated earlier that Lokesh's next would star Rajinikanth in the lead and be bankrolled by Kamal. It was also expected that Kamal would be doing a cameo role in the film. Reliable sources state that Kamal Haasan 232 will be a fresh script. Though the project is being promoted with the hashtag 'Evan endru ninaithaai', there is no confirmation that this will be the title of the film.
