Coronavirus scare: The Batman filming temporarily paused

The Batman filming, which was being carried out in London, has been suspended over a coronavirus scare. In a statement, Warner Bros confirmed the news. "A member of The Batman production has tested positive for Covid-19, and is isolating in accordance with established protocols. Filming is temporarily paused," the statement revealed.

Meanwhile, several reports suggest that the member who tested Covid-19 positive is lead actor Robert Pattinson. Production of the Matt Reeves film was suspended in March when the pandemic broke out and work was restarted only a week ago.

Recently, the first trailer of the Pattinson-starrer was dropped at DC Fandome. While the film was initially set to hit the screens in June 2021, due to the delay amid the pandemic, Warner Bros pushed the release to October 1, 2021.
