Sandalwood drugs case: Vivek Oberoi’s home raided as cops search for brother-in-law

Vivek Oberoi’s home in Mumbai was raided by the Bengaluru Police today, reports state. The actor's brother-in-law, Aditya Alva, has been accused in the Sandalwood drugs case and has been absconding from the police.

Aditya has been linked to a drug racket allegedly connected to celebrities in the Kannada film industry. Earlier, actors Ragini Dwivedi and Sanjjanaa Galrani were arrested in the ongoing probe.

Meanwhile, Vivek’s 2019 film, PM Narendra Modi, has re-released in theatres today. The biopic chronicles the rise to power of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Vivek will also be seen in the horror-thriller Rosie: The Saffron Chapter, which he is also co-producing.
