Malayalam actor Tovino Thomas, who was in the hospital for an injury, has recovered. Tovino was admitted following pain from internal bleeding due to a risky stunt while shooting for his new film Kala. In a video, the actor thanked his fans for their concern.

"It's after a very long time that I had to be in a hospital for these many days — two days in the ICU and a few days in the room. What could've been a difficult experience became a beautiful memory thanks to the doctors here — to sit peacefully for a while without thinking about fame and everything. I wish I don't get to come to a hospital ever again for anything related to my health. It was also a time for realisation. I got to learn about people's unconditional love and care for me. It gladdens my heart and compels me to take better care of my health," he said.

Earlier, his PRO Vipin Kumar had informed that there was nothing to worry about. "The injury happened a few days back. He was admitted after he developed the pain. But he is doing fine now. We have spoken to him," Vipin had said.

Filming of the adventure thriller began on September 7. Kala co-stars actors like Lal, Divya Pillai and Pathinettam Padi-fame Sumesh Moor.
