SR Prabhakaran's turns producer for his next starring Tanya

Filmmaker SR Prabhakaran, known for directing films like Sundarapandian and Idhu Kathirvelan Kadhal, has turned producer for a new untitled project. Produced under his home banner Pangajam Dreams Productions, the film will star Tanya Ravichandran of Karuppan and Brindavanam fame in the lead. Apart from directing and producing the film, Prabhakaran will also be penning the story, screenplay and dialogues.

A source close to the film says, "It is a crime thriller and will star Tanya as the only lead. She will be seen playing a never-before-seen role. The film went on floors yesterday and the makers are planning on wrapping up the shoot soon."

Also starring Jayaprakash, Thulasi, Aadukalam Naren, Bose Venkat and Ramnath Shetty, the film will have cinematography by Ganesh Santhanam.

Meanwhile, Prabhakaran is awaiting the release of Kombu Vatcha Singamda, starring Sasikumar.
