Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari to get theatrical release on November 15 

Directed by Abhishek Sharma, the film stars Manoj Bajpayee, Diljit Dosanjh, and Fatima Sana Shaikh

Zee Studios has confirmed a Diwali release for their upcoming comedy, Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari. The film will be released theatrically on November 15 across India. 

Directed by Abhishek Sharma, Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari stars Manoj Bajpayee, Diljit Dosanjh, and Fatima Sana Shaikh. The film's synopsis reads: “In the 1990s, a wedding detective has to perform background checks on prospective grooms. In the time before social media and mobile phones, everything has to be done in person.”

Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari is among the first films to be released theatrically in India post the lockdown. Earlier, the 2019 film PM Narendra Modi was re-released when cinemas reopened on October 15.
