Coming up, 1n1ly.com, an app by and for Ravichandran

Ravichandran is also coming up with an app, 1n1ly.com, which will exclusively talk about his works. The app, which is now under works, will be out in a month or two. “This app will have every information about Ravichandran — about my films, my company — and going forward, I will convert it to an OTT platform too. This will also be used to interact with my fans,” says Ravichandran, who preferred to go ahead with an app instead of a YouTube channel.

“YouTube has been creating piracy. Moreover, this app is for those who want to know about me, and my works. All the social media handles will be linked to this app,” he further explains.  The actor, who comes with decades of experience working as an actor, director and producer, says OTT platforms are fast losing sheen.

“Whether it is the silver screen or digital format, I believe in the content. People who were glued to Amazon and Netflix till yesterday are already getting tired. If you can make the content interesting, people can watch it on any platform, and as a filmmaker, we should develop that craze,” he says.
