Tom Hanks and wife Rita Wilson return to US from Australia 

Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson, who were quarantined in Australia after testing positive for COVID-19, returned to their home in the US. Hanks took to Twitter to share that he is home. 

The actor also thanked everyone who supported him through this hardship and made his return to the US possible. The couple is now in home quarantine. 

Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson were in Australia filming Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis Presley biopic when the couple was diagnosed with coronavirus. They were admitted to a hospital in Queensland and were eventually discharged to be in self-quarantine. 

Tom Hanks and Rita are among the list of celebrities like  Idris Elba, Andy Cohen, and Kristofer Hivju, who have been affected by the novel coronavirus.
