Angelina Jolie donates $1million to feed hungry children amid coronavirus outbreak

Angelina, who is popular for her philanthropy work, also donated to the UN Refugee Agency and sent support to the schools she funds across the world

Hollywood star Angelina Jolie has pledged to donate $1 million to the charity No Kid Hungry to help feed children, who relied on school lunches and have been affected by the closures due to the coronavirus outbreak.

In a statement, the actress reportedly said, "As of this week, over a billion children are out of school worldwide because of closures linked to coronavirus. Many children depend on the care and nutrition they receive during school hours, including nearly 22 million children in America who rely on food support. No Kid Hungry is making resolute efforts to reach as many of those children as possible.”

Angelina, who is popular for her philanthropy work, also donated to the UN Refugee Agency and sent support to the schools she funds across the world.
