Ashok Selvan-Niharika Konidela film launched 

We had earlier reported that Niharika Konidela, who made her Tamil debut with Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren, will be starring opposite Ashok Selvan in an upcoming film. Now, the project has been officially launched. Directed by Swathini, an erstwhile assistant of director Suseenthiran, the film is touted to be a dramedy. 

Leon James, who is in charge of the music for the film, began his recording sessions today. Notably, Leon was also the composer for Ashok Selvan’s last release, Oh My Kadavule. 

“I was looking out for scripts of a similar paradigm, with an appropriate blend of family, comedy, love, and emotions, when Swathini approached us with a script that looked perfect. Shooting will begin once things get back to normal post the coronavirus lockdown,” says producer J Selvakumar, adding that the film will be ready for release within five months from commencement of shooting.  

While the rest of the cast is yet to be revealed, AR Soorya and Richard Kevin have been roped in for cinematography and editing, respectively.
