Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Yaara, starring Vidyut Jammwal and Shruti Haasan, to release on ZEE5

Tigmanshu Dhulia’s upcoming film Yaara will premiere directly on ZEE5. The crime drama stars Vidyut Jammwal and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles. The cast also includes Amit Sadh, Vijay Varma and Sanjay Mishra.
Set in UP, Yaara follows four friends running criminal operations across the Nepal-India border. The film is a licensed adaptation of the 2011 French drama, A Gang Story.
“Yaara is an homage to honour friendship between four friends, a riveting take on any crime narrative that we have seen so far,” Tigmanshu shared. “I think another highlight of the film is the casting. It is a unique, talented mix of actors who have done a phenomenal job on each of their characters. All of them have their own indigenous style to express their lines and emotions.”
Yaara is produced by Sunir Kheterpal for Azure Entertainment.
