Akshay Kumar’s Bell Bottom, which was expected to be released on January 22, will now hit the screens on April 2, 2021.
Akshay and producer Sajid Nadiadwala first shifted the release date of Bachchan Pandey to January 22 to accommodate a solo release for Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chadha on Christmas 2020. And so, Bell Bottom has now been pushed to April next year.
Directed by Ranjit M Tewari, Bell Bottom is a retro spy film set in the 80s. The espionage thriller, written by Aseem Arora and Pervez Shaikhand, tells the story of ‘one of India’s forgotten heroes’. The film is not a remake of the 2019 Kannada release of the same name.
Bell Bottom is produced by Pooja Entertainment in association with Emmay Entertainment.
