Ananya Panday starts shooting for Vijay Deverakonda’s Hindi debut

It’s official. Ananya Panday has joined the cast of Vijay Deverakonda’s debut Hindi film. Co-produced by Dharma Productions, the upcoming film is directed by Puri Jagannadh. 

The shooting is presently on in Mumbai and the team is canning crucial scenes with the lead cast. Ananya, who recently won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut, has joined the shoot today. She essays the female lead opposite Vijay. The shoot is taking place in a massive set erected by art director Jonny.

This action film will apparently feature a lot of mixed martial arts. The stunts are being choreographed by Kecha. 

Ananya is the daughter of Bollywood actor Chunky Panday. She made her acting debut last year in Student of the Year 2. She was also seen in Pati Patni Aur Woh. 

Besides Vijay Deverakonda’s next, Ananya is also working on Khaali Peeli, co-starring Ishaan Khatter. The film is rumoured to be a remake of Taxiwaala, a 2018 Telugu hit that starred Vijay Deverakonda in the lead role.
