The Muppets director James Bobin is in talks to direct Clue, which will star Ryan Reynolds in the lead. Reynolds will also produce the big-screen adaptation of the classic board game.
It was earlier reported that Jason Bateman was on board to helm the project. However, the actor-director, who was also set to star in Clue, has dropped out of the project due to scheduling conflicts with his Netflix series, Ozark.
Rheet Reese and Paul Wernick, who wrote Deadpool, Deadpool 2, and 6 Underground, are penning the script for Clue.
Clue is a board game in which players take on the roles of guests at a mansion trying to deduce the identity of a killer.
