Vijay Sethupathi's Rayanam look from Uppena released

Vijay Sethupathi's first look as Rayanam from his second Telugu film, Uppena was released by the makers today. The actor plays the villain to debutant Panja Vaisshnav Tej's protagonist. 

The poster features a kurta-clad Sethupathi with a handlebar moustache and beard leaning on a black ambassador car. A rustic love story set against the backdrop of the sea, Uppena is inspired by the ghastly honour killing incident in Nalgonda. 

Directed by newcomer Buchi Babu Sana, the shooting of Uppena is nearing completion and the makers are planning to release the film on April 2.

Mangalore actor Krithi Shetty is playing the female lead and Sethupathi's daughter in the film produced under the Mythri Movie Makers banner. The music of Uppena is by Devi Sri Prasad.
