Sivakarthikeyan's film with Ravikumar titled Ayalaan

We had previously reported that director Ravikumar of Indru Netru Naalai fame is teaming up with Sivakarthikeyan for a film. It is now known that the film is titled Ayalaan. The music director of the film, AR Rahman took to Twitter and shared a video that revealed the title, along with the tagline, 'Destination Earth'. 

Touted to be a sci-fi film about an alien and made on a huge budget, Ayalaan was put on hold for a while during which time Sivakarthikeyan completed a few other films. 24 AM Productions, which is producing this film, revealed last week that the shooting has been resumed.

Also starring Rakul Preet, Yogi Babu, and Karunakaran, Ayalaan has Nirav Shah in charge of cinematography. 

Meanwhile, Sivakarthikeyan, who was recently seen in Hero, will have Doctor as his next release. The film is directed by his long-time friend, Nelson Dilipkumar, in whose directorial debut, Kolamavu Kokila, Sivakarthikeyan also debuted as a lyricist with the hit song Kalyana Vayasu.
