Harish Kalyan-Elan's upcoming film titled Star 

We had previously told you that Harish Kalyan, director Elan and Yuvan Shankar Raja are coming together for a new film, after their successful Pyaar Prema Kaadhal. The project, which was tentatively referred to as HEY, (an acronym made out of the first letters of the trio's names), has been titled Star. The first look poster of the film which was released on the occasion of Rajinikanth's birthday features Harish Kalyan cosplaying superstar's iconic look from Thalpathi. 

It may be recalled that Prashanth's 2001 film, directed by Praveen Gandhi and co-starring Jyotika was titled Star. 

Sharing the FL poster Harish wrote, "As your (Rajinikanth's) die hard fan. I am blessed to have lived a few moments from the iconic character that you portrayed on screen! Happy Birthday Thalaiva!" 

Star has cinematography by Ezhil Arasu K and editing by Prasanna GK. The film's production house Screen Scene Entertainment is yet to announce the female lead and rest of the cast.
