Alia Bhatt begins filming for RRR in Hyderabad 

Alia Bhatt has joined the sets of RRR in Hyderabad. The actor, who essays a character named Sita in the film, shared a picture of herself en route to the sets. She was also photographed engaged in discussion with director SS Rajamouli.

RRR offers a fictional take on the younger days of freedom fighters Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetharamaraju, played by Telugu stars NT Rama Rao Jr and Ram Charan, respectively. Alia is paired opposite Ram Charan in the film. Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn is also a part of the big-budget project.

Alia was cast in RRR in 2019. Following multiple delays, the actor has finally begun filming her portions in Hyderabad. The schedule is expected to go on for a few weeks.

Alia’s last release was Sadak 2. She will be seen in the upcoming Bollywood films Brahmastra and Gangubai Kathiawadi.
