Rishi Kapoor’s family readies for funeral, daughter Riddhima to fly from Delhi

Actor Rishi Kapoor passed away today after a two-year-long battle with cancer. The actor’s mortal remains were taken from HN Reliance Hospital in Mumbai this afternoon. His funeral will take place this evening at the Chandanwadi crematorium in Marine Lines.

Rishi Kapoor is survived by his wife Neetu Kapoor and children Ranbir and Riddhima. Riddhima, who lives in Delhi, has availed special permission to fly down for the last rites. Her husband Bharat and daughter Samara will accompany her, with two others. Meanwhile, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Alia Bhatt, Abhishek Bachchan and others have reached the hospital to be with the rest of the family, it is reported.

Sharing a picture with her father, Riddhima wrote on Instagram, “Papa I love you I will always love you - RIP my strongest warrior I will miss you everyday I will miss your FaceTime calls everyday! I wish I could be there to say goodbye to you ! Until we meet again papa I love you - your Mushk forever”

Karisma Kapoor shared a picture with her father Randhir and uncle Rishi.

Kareena Kapoor Khan posted a photo of Rishi and Randhir from their childhood. “The best boys I know... Papa and Chintu uncle,” she wrote.”
