Anirudh to sing for Vijay Sethupathi's Sangatamizhan

Music director Anirudh, who is known for often lending his voice for albums of other composers, has sung a song for Vijay Sethupathi's upcoming film, Sangatamizhan, which has music by the Vivek-Mervin duo.

The song, written by Francis, is called Sandakari Needhan En Sandakozhi Needhan. The romantic number is expected to feature Vijay Sethupathi along with Nivetha Pethuraj. Rashi Khanna is also part of Sangatamizhan as another female lead.

Interestingly, Anirudh has also previously sung in the Vijay Sethupathi films he has composed for, namely Naanum Rowdydhaan and Petta, as well as other projects of the actor such as Sethupathi and Vikram Vedha, which had music by Nivas K Prasanna and Sam CS, respectively. 

Also starring Soori, Nassar, Ashuthosh Rana and Rajendran, Sangatamizhan is directed by Vijay Chandar. Bankrolled by Vijaya Productions, the film features Vijay Sethupathi in a dual role for the first time.
