Kannada star Shivarajkumar, who was invited as the guest at the pre-release event of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, which was held in Bengaluru on Sunday, called Chiranjeevi his 'elder brother'. "We are more like a family, and I don't need an invitation to attend this event. He always visits us, whenever we invite him," he added.

The event drew thousands of people who wanted a glimpse of the Megastar. It was also attended by the film's producer, Ram Charan, and actor Tamannaah. The highly anticipated historical war drama will be hitting the screens tomorrow (October 2). Shot in Telugu, it is also getting a dubbed version in Kannada, as well as Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi.

Speaking at the pre-release event, Shivarajkumar took an opportunity to mention that his father Dr Rajkumar always considered Chiranjeevi as the eldest son of the family, and that he sees the Telugu Mega Star as his brother.

Sudeep plays the role of Avuku Raja in Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. The actor, who is currently in Poland for Kotigobba 3, made a special video call and wished the team well.

Talking about Sudeep, Chiranjeevi said, "I am happy to have my friend, Kichcha Sudeep as part of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. He plays a pivotal role in the film and has done complete justice to the character. The audience will feel the same after watching the film."
