Mysskin to play a role in Thupparivaalan 2?

We had previously reported that director Mysskin is currently shooting Thupparivaalan 2 in London, UK with its lead actors Vishal and Prasanna.

Recent photos released by the film's production house, Vishal Film Factory, shows the director donning a blue blazer and a red tie as he's explaining a scene to child actors. The photos have left the internet ablaze with rumours that the director himself will be playing a pivotal character in the film. Acting is not new to Mysskin, who has earlier played the lead in his own directorials, Nandalala and Onaayum Aattukkuttiyum, in addition to films by other directors such as Savarakkaththi, Super Deluxe, and Suttu Pidikka Utharavu.

Prasanna and Vishal will be reprising their roles as Manohar and Kanniyan Poongundran in Thupparivaalan 2 and senior actors like Rahman and Gauthami are also expected to be part of the project. Lovely Singh, rechristened as Ashya, will be playing the female lead in the film, which has cinematography by Nirav Shah and music by Ilaiyaraaja.
