Venkat Prabhu and Vaibhav turn cops for Nithin Sathya’s Lock Up

Lock Up is the second production venture of actor Nithin Sathya. The film is inspired by real-life incidents, according to the producer

Actor Nitin Sathyaa, who turned producer with the Jai starrer Jarugandi, is gearing up for the release of his second production venture, Lock Up. The film starring Venkat Prabhu and Vaibhav in the lead rolesis directed by debutant director SG Charles. The title of the film was revealed yesterday and the first look poster featuring the male leads behind the lock up bars was launched by Dhanush today. 

Nitin Sathyaa describes the film as an edge-of-the-seat thriller. "Lock Up will be a treat to all the cinema lovers who believe the content is the king. It is an investigative drama featuring both Venkat Prabhu and Vaibhav as cops,” he says. 

He adds that both Vaibhav and Venkat Prabhu had a healthy competition in the sets. "It was more like they were competing against each other during the shoot to give their best.”

The film also starring Vani Bhojan, Eswari Rao, and Poorna, has  music by Aroll Corelli. 

Nitin has planned to release the film towards the end of November.
