Nikhila Vimal joins the cast of Jeetu Joseph's next starring Jyotika and Karthi

We had previously reported that Karthi is teaming up with his sister-in-law Jyotika for a film to be directed by Jeethu Joseph, who made his Tamil debut with the KamalHaasan-starrer, Papanaasam.

It's now known that Nikhila Vimal, known for films such as Vetrivel and Kidaari, has been roped in as the female lead for the film. The actor has already joined the sets in Ooty, and Karthi took to Twitter to confirm the news with pictures from the sets. 

The film also starring Seetha, Anson Paul and Sathyaraj, went on floors last month. Scripted by Jeethu, Rensil D’Silva, and Manikandan, the film with music by Govind Vasantha, and cinematography by RD Rajasekar, is expected to get a release in October.

Nikhila, who was last seen alongside Dulquer Salmaan in the Malayalam comedy, Oru Yamandan Premakadha, will next be seen in Sibi Sathyaraj starrer Ranga which is currently in post-production.
