Replace whiskey bottle with flowers, CBFC tells De De Pyaar De makers

The Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has asked the makers of De De Pyaar De to replace the shot of a whiskey bottle in a female actor's hand with a bouquet of flowers. The film, which stars Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Rakul Preet, was granted a U/A certificate on May 7 with three alterations/cuts. 

The official website of CBFC details, “Deleted the visuals where (the) heroine holds (an) alcohol bottle and replaced (it) with (the) heroine holding (a) flower bouquet ... in the song Vaddi Sharaban.” Additionally, the dialogue "performance better hoti hai" (performance gets enhanced) along with the respective visual has been cut from the film. 

Directed by debutant Akiv Ali, De De Pyaar De is a romantic comedy about a younger girl, an older man, and his wife. The film, written and produced by Pyaar Ka Punchnama-fame Luv Ranjan, is slated for  release tomorrow.
