Release date for multiple Sudeep-starrers announced

There’s good news for fans of Sudeep who have been eagerly awaiting the release of his films. Release dates for several of the actor's films were revealed yesterday.

S Krishna’s Pailwaan is slated to hit theatres on August 8. Produced under RRR Motion Pictures, the film will get a release in eight languages, including Hindi, Bhojpuri and Marathi. While Akanksha Singh is in the female lead, the film will also see Suniel Shetty making his Kannada debut. Sushant Singh and Kabir Duhan Singh are also part of the cast of this film, which is now in the post-production stage.

Next up, Kotigobba 3, is likely to be released on November 1 (Kannada Rajyotsava). The third film in the series, it is helmed by Shiva Karthik and produced by Surappa Babu. They recently wrapped up the third schedule, thus completing 60 per cent of the shoot. The story, penned by Sudeep, will mark the debuts of Madonna Sebastian and Bollywood star Aftab Shivadasani. The film's music is by Arjun Janya, and the cast also includes Shraddha Das and Ravi Shankar.

Meanwhile, the film that marks Sudeep's return to Hindi cinema, Dabangg 3, starring Salman Khan and directed by Prabhudeva, has also got its release date -- December 20. The shooting of the film has begun, and Sudeep will join the sets from May 4.

The actor is also part of the mega budget Tollywood project, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, a historical drama starring Chiranjeevi. Sudeep plays the role of Avuku Raju in this film which tells the story of freedom fighter, Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. It will be out on January 18, 2020.
