Amala Paul to star with Asif Ali?

If reports are to be believed, Amala Paul has been cast alongside Asif Ali in his upcoming film Parannu Parannu, to be helmed by Sugeeth. Amala had previously worked with Asif in Ithu Nammude Kadha.

Parannu Parannu, which marks Asif’s second collaboration with Sugeeth after Ordinary (2012), is expected to start rolling in June. Scripted by Jojan Abraham, the film is produced by Ajeesh OK under the banner of Dream Walk Productions. Vivek Menon is in charge of the camera and Vikram Subramanya the music.

Meanwhile, Asif has two films awaiting release — Mera Naam Shaji and Kakshi: Amminipilla. While the former will hit theatres on April 5, a release date for the latter is yet to be announced. The actor is currently filming Arun Kumar Aravind’s Underworld. On the other hand, Amala has the Prithviraj-starrer Aadujeevitham gearing up for release.
