Rachita Ram to play the female lead in PC Shekar-Prajwal Devaraj's next?

We had earlier reported that the Arjuna combo of actor Prajwal Devaraj and director PC Shekar are joining hands once again for a romantic film. According to the latest developments, the makers have approached Rachita Ram to play the female lead in this project.

A few rounds of discussions have taken place between the heroine and the director, and they are expected to make the official announcement soon. The love story, set against the backdrop of a slum, has Prajwal playing a challenging character and the shooting is likely to start from April. On the technical front, Shekhar has roped in Arjun Janya to score the music and Vaidy to handle the camera.

Apart from this film, Prajwal has his hands full with projects like Inspector Vikram, Gentleman and Arjun Gowda. Meanwhile, Rachita, who is currently shooting for the Shivarajkumar-starrer directed by P Vasu, will also be seen playing the lead in her first women-centric project, April.
