Actors from Game of Thrones and Downtown Abby join Madhavan's Rocketry The Nambi Effect

Madhavan, who is currently shooting his directorial debut, Rocketry - The Nambi Effect — a biopic on ISRO scientist, Nambi Narayanan — has taken to Twitter to reveal that actors Ron Donachie (Sir Roderick Cassel from Game of Thrones) and Phyllis Logan (Mrs Hughes from Downtown Abby) have joined the film's cast. However, there is no information yet about their contributions to the film.

Produced by Tricolour Films in association with Vijay Moolan Talkies and Saffron Ganesha Entertainment, the film also stars Simran and Rajeev Ravindranathan. Rocketry will be getting a release in three languages — Tamil, English, and Hindi — by the end of this year. 

Nambi Narayanan is a former senior ISRO official, who was wrongly accused of espionage and arrested in 1994 for allegedly selling India’s trade secrets to Pakistan. The CBI dropped charges against him in 1996, and the Supreme Court declared him not guilty in 1998.
