Tanushree Podder's famous novel, Boots Belts Berets, to be adapted for the web

Tanushree Podder's novel, Boots Belts Berets, will soon be made into a web series by Tipping Point, Viacom18 Studios' digital content division, which has recently acquired the screen adaptation rights for the book.

The series will focus on the trails and tribulations of four protagonists, who, after leading a sheltered life for sixteen years, are forced into the world of the National Defence Academy (NDA), where they form a bond for life. The series will be a take on youth, camaraderie, and growing up.

"Tipping Point seeks out narratives missing in the mainstream. We produced 12 short films, which were received well by viewers owing to their quirky and novel concepts. With this brand new web series, we maintain our proposition to produce standout contemporary content that will shock, awe or warm the heart," said Ajit Andhare, COO, Viacom18 Studios, in a statement.
