Boney Kapoor, producer of Nerkonda Paarvai, has announced that his next project with Ajith Kumar will go on floors in the last week of August. As we had previously reported, this film is the second in the two-film deal signed by Ajith with Boney's Bayview Projects LLP, and it will once again be helmed by Nerkonda Paarvai director, H Vinoth. The new film is expected to be a thriller and have music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Meanwhile, Nerkonda Paarvai, the official remake of Pink, will be hitting the screens on August 8. The film has Ajith and Shraddha Srinath reprising the roles of Amitabh Bachchan and Tapsee in the original. With cinematography by Nirav Shah and editing by Gokul Chandran, Nerkonda Paarvai marks the Tamil debut of Kalki Koechlin and Vidya Balan.
