Poorna, who was last seen in a cameo in Jayam Ravi-starrer Adanga Maru, is the latest to join the cast of Suriya’s upcoming film Kaappaan. She is reportedly playing a key role in the film. A picture of the Savarakkathi actor and Suriya from the sets has been doing the rounds on social media. This will be the first time Poorna shares screen space with the Singam actor.

Helmed by KV Anand, Kaappaan has an ensemble cast that includes Mohanlal, Arya, Boman Irani, Samuthirakani, and Sayyeshaa. This is the filmmaker’s third project with Suriya after Ayan and Maatraan. Produced by Lyca Productions, the film will have music by Harris Jayaraj, cinematography by Abhinandan Ramanujam and editing by Antony.

Meanwhile, Suriya is currently awaiting the release of NGK, his film with Selvaraghavan.
