Mohanlal wraps up shooting for Suriya's Kaappaan
The actor is said to be playing the Prime Minister of India in the film
Mohanlal has completed shooting his portions for KV Anand's Kaappaan, starring Suriya. The actor is said to be playing the Prime Minister of India in the film, which is his first Tamil project since the 2014 Vijay-starrer, Jilla.
Suriya is seen in a suave avatar, with a crisp suit, sunglasses, and guns, in the first look posters, lending credence to rumours that he plays a bodyguard to Mohanlal's character. Kaappaan stars Sayyeshaa opposite Suriya, and also has Boman Irani and Samuthirakani essaying important roles.
Much like the previous collaborations between Suriya and KV Anand (Ayan and Maatraan), the upcoming film too has music by Harris Jayaraj.
Bankrolled by Lyca Productions, this high-budget action entertainer has cinematography by Abhinandan Ramanujam and editing by Antony.
