GV Prakash-director Vijay combo's Watchman certified U. Set to release this summer

Director Vijay's next project with GV Prakash Kumar, a suspense thriller titled Watchman, has been cleared by the censors with a clean U certificate.

The actor took to Twitter to announce the same.

The shoot of the film, which also stars Yogi Babu and Raj Arjun, was recently wrapped up. A promo song for the film featured Sayyeshaa making a special appearance.  A dog Bruno plays an important role in the film as well. The Double Meaning Pictures production is all set to release this summer.

The film, which has GV Prakash taking care of the music as well, has cinematography by Nirav Shah. The lyrics are by Arunraja Kamaraj.

GV Prakash's upcoming releases include the Vasanthabalan-directed Jail and Shanmugam Muthuswamy's Adangathey. Vijay, meanwhile, is basking in the success of his Prabhudheva-starrer Lakshmi, and has been announced by Vibri Media as the director of their upcoming biopic on former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa.
